We are halfway there! I'm halfway there! Last April 4th and 9th, the girls and I attended our graduation pictorial at the university.
The scheduled time for my block's pictorial was in the afternoon, but had to be there at the uni for a job opportunity kind of a seminar in the morning. Afterwards, we had our lunch a bit earlier and lined up inside to get our hair and make up done for the shoot.
I never wore my makeup this way, it's kinda thick I would say and I'm not really used to seeing myself looking like ain't myself. I like my makeup looking natural that is why. But, anyway, I am grateful to how the one who fixed my hair kept my bangs cause it's my life. I cannot have my pictorial without my beloved bangs. It completes my identity lol.
After the long wait, it's finally my turn to take photos at the first station with my family. I had my mother and father with me.
Sadly, my sister was not able to attend due to her work. I am very much grateful to my family who showered me with love and support, and I can do none of these with them in my life.
Right after the family photo, my parents went home while I stayed behind for the solo shots.
For the solo shots, I had to wear different attires. The first attire was the Filipiñana, it's the Philippines' national attire for women.
I decided to go with red since it is my favorite color and the people around me told me I will look good in it due to my skin complexion.
The second attire was the corporate attire. I chose this cute little suit. I think it looks adorable. Following it was the toga.
I can't believe how far I've gone already and that I did survive my four years in uni. All the tears, sleepless nights, gut-wrenching experiences paid off.
My experience in uni is a total rollercoaster ride—it was fun, scary, emotionally challenging, and very much fulfilling.
After a couple of shots, we are finally done for the day. But, we are not done yet.
The next day, we went back to have our class pictorial and on the 9th of April, the girls and I went back together to have our friend group shots or the so-called Barkada Shots.
These shots are my favorites, we slayed it hahaha, we looked like models for a fashion magazine. We looked cool.
After taking photos in the studio, we also took some outside and I love how everything turned out beautiful.
These people are great emotional support to me throughout my journey. We literally laughed and cried together. The hard days became great ones because of them. It was fun growing up with these people.
We may take different paths later on, but still I am looking forward to share my future discoveries with them as I venture independently in life a.
Wait up! I ain't done yet ✋. I cannot end this blog without flexing my solo pictures. Despite being awkward, we managed to capture these nice photos of me. Good thing I have friends who are great photographers 😆.
