The last time I was daily driving an Android phone was early January 2024, and don't get me wrong, I like iPhone, but... I felt the need for a change. I've been watching OnePlus for a while, and their latest flagship, the OnePlus 13, got more and more appealing to me lately.

It's been launched for something like half a year already, but the first models to hit the markets were the Chinese versions, and I didn't like the idea of buying such a model and having to get into all the hassle of transitioning from ColorOS (Chinese Android version) to OxygenOS (global Android version).

I didn't even know I was that sure I wanted this phone, but I found a nice offer on an eBay-like online shop and thought I should give the OnePlus a try.

My iPhone's battery was not doing well, with just 87% battery health after a bit over a year of use, the next model is just around the corner, thus I considered it would be a good idea to buy a new phone with about the money I will be taking for my phone when selling.

So, I'm back to Android... It feels nice tbh. It is way more customizable, and I didn't have a problem at all with setting up the new device. As a matter of fact, some shit I was not able to do on my iPhone I am doing perfectly on OnePlus, like adding my gate.io card to the phone's wallet.

But why OnePlus? Well... It's a flagship killer, in the sense that it's feature-packed with the latest and greatest for less cash than Samsung or iPhone would ask. I paid something like 750 euros for this one, and the new S25 Ultra on the same markets is close to 1000 euros.

What do I like the most about it so far? The camera, the battery, the insanely fast charging speeds, and the fact that it doesn't feel bulky at all like the S25 Ultra does... What I don't like is the fact that European versions don't come with a charger and a case like other global versions do...

I will buy a charger, but for now, I am using it without a case. It feels pretty grippy. If I find anything worth buying, I will do it. Anyway, now I have to sell the iPhone and will probably spend a couple of days playing with the OnePlus 13, customizing it to my taste.

Time to hit the bed now... So, wish you all a great day and catch with you all next time.

Thanks for your attention,
Adrian
