I found a grass crab spider attached to a mango leaf in my yard one afternoon. The crab spider belongs to the genus Oxytate. This type is a nocturnal predator; it actively hunts prey at night. During the day, the crab spider tends to stay still behind the leaves. It has the characteristics of an abdomen and four long front legs, and a transparent green body allows the spider to camouflage with the green vegetation. These photos are converted to black and white; you can imagine the original color according to what I have described.
This is another entry I submitted for the daily #monomad challenge.
