Hi, I am Arveno from Surabaya city. in this content i want to share my experience about of course Ramen again. I think i am always eating Ramen each week. Yeah once in a week eating Ramen kinda make me satisfied. But, today i want to share about Malaysian Ramen Cuisine. First of all this is non Halal dish. So, i dont recommended to all Muslim friends who read it. But, in this content i just want to share what i feel and taste. Okay back when in last sunday from sending tribute to my daughter, you guys can read here. We are searching fine dining restaurant that not too crowded but yet not too quite since if the restaurant is too quite, i am questioning is this restaurant taste is really bad so no one come? and if too crowded, yes of course that restaurant is delicious. But, without privacy and eating with discomfort absolutely not my style. And after searching in shopping area near my house. I found Ramen Restaurant which is not too crowded at first.
After decided to eating in this small restaurant, we got really nice served from the waiter. Thats very rare the waiter opened the door and welcoming the customer.
Usually many restaurant not welcoming that warm just usual to make sure we buy and sit down first. But yeah first impression of this restaurant is really cool for me.
After sit down and placing the order as usual we are waiting the food while talking with my wife and my son. Right now my son is really talkative. So, mostly we are listening what he told to us. He always telling story about his experience.
After a while, the first order that came to our table is my ramen with just braised pork slices and some condiment like fish balls, boiled egg, and some tofu slices. And the noodles is like usual noodles, but the taste is so savory and the mixed about umami, saltiness, and spice from pepper is mixing well.
Not lng after that my wife's dish come too.
My wife ordered almost similar with my dish, but what make her different is, she ordered with innards. I dont notice what inside but from what i heard is pig belly and pig heart. And yeah i dont like innards. So, i dont want to taste her food at all. But once she forcing me to try her dish broth. But, the taste of both broth are similar. My wife dishes spicier than mine in terms of the pepper taste. Mine is saltier than her. But the after taste is really similar. I think this dish using much MSG inside.
And the last is my son noodles, it just plain noodles since usually he cannot eat all of this plate and in the end i will finish his food. But, yeah his noodles condiment is just small vegetables and got 3 big and mouthfull of crispy dumplings. And my son loves very much about those dumplings.
And the last is pork beef crispy. Actually this is just pork meat that minced and then coated with flour and deep fried it. But, what makes odd is the taste is really tasty. I think this restaurant still using really pork meat not processed pork meat. Since sometimes i feel that i eat some cartilage.
And overal this place is really good and tasty. And yeah i definately will come back again if i want to eat salty ramen. But, i dont want eat on this place often since the price is really expensive. It cost 17$ for all food which is too expensive. First of all those all mostly carbs that will make us easy to hungry again and second too much MSG that can makes my blood pressure will rapidly rises. And third, i dont think this food is make us full. This food just for fullfilling our dopamine hormon that makes us happy tasting umami food. So, this is my experience eating Penang Malaysia Noodles. Really highly recommended. If you are in Surabaya especially in east Surabaya just search on google maps Seng-Kee Penang Noodles, you will find it on google maps. And this is my content and see u in the next content.
