Greetings ASEAN Hivers, this week's challenge is a chance to highlight local markets whether you are living abroad or here in Southeast Asia.
On June 1st I'll be setting off for the USA with my wife and children, and one of the things I will miss most are the local markets here in Cambodia. A town with a few thousand people in Southeast Asia often has a better produce selection than a capital city's largest farmer's market in the USA. This is something I never take for granted, and the social aspect of these local markets is far superior than and soulless self-checkout line in a western supermarket.
From gigantic jackfruits to an endless variety of leafy greens, no market trip for me is complete without buying at least one item from a granny squatting illegally on the ground outside the market, trying to sell a few things before being chased away by the market controller. There are rarely dull moments at these places, so please document a trip to your local market and showcase its character and uniqueness.

Maybe I am biased, but typical daily life is one of the reasons I prefer Hive to other social media like Facebook, Instagram, and all of the other things. The majority of us ASEAN Hivers are humble working class people just trying to survive day to day, and I am most interested in how us ASEAN Hivers approach this life challenge. As always, challenges like this are very eye opening for me, and every entry was worthy of being in the winners' circle.

Like sir @justinparke said; there's nothing wrong with repeating our daily lives. Especially for a full time mom like me that chooses to work inside the House. It's some kind of magic or multitasking and time management. Sometimes we will look for the right consistency if we are doing it right. The whole week, Saturday and Sundays became my favorite. I never thought that me and my husband could make things right between us. The magic and fire keeps on burning for the two of us.

Hello there hivers! Wishing you good day everyone! Any thoughts for the day? We have been experiencing hot weather these past few days especially during the Holy week until today and I am worried because my plants showed signs of withering. Unlike in our place where the weather is cool and even if it's hot, our plants are still protected by tall trees around. Nevertheless, I see to it that our plants are well watered everyday.
