This morning was truly amazing. When Bangkok residents were still very quiet, I was already in one of the temples near the hotel to explore. It felt like I was not in the crowded city of Bangkok, full of traffic jams everywhere, but like in a slow and quiet city. Many birds were still crowing while perching on the pillars and also the silence of the sound of vehicles.

It's not that I don't have enough work, but I understand that trips are often chased by time. It's not wrong to shorten the break and do a lot of activities. Like seeing a place of worship for Bangkok residents, one of the temples that was the first to be a public school for the people of Thailand.

This is a Buddhist temple in the heart of Bangkok. An interesting design with such high pillars, as usual the typical Thai temple architecture. This temple offers many things including its very complicated architecture. The atmosphere is so peaceful because suddenly the noise just disappears, becoming a perfect representation of so much of Thailand's cultural heritage.

So many murals tell stories, all detailing the amazement of the teachings and stories of Buddha, so that it not only makes it a place of worship, but a pile of treasures of Thai Buddhist culture. So excited about this, even though it was the first time I set foot here.

Having a large garden and yard, where there are several special places for worship that are prepared with an upward funnel shape and white. Some interesting accents from door and window accessories with a perfect and luxurious gold color.

There are many quiet spaces so that Thai people will be very deep in worship. Likewise for getting photography or even just to rest. I was very amazed how they could treat people who were not interested in worship (like me at that time) to be able to take some photos and sit down to enjoy the bright morning.

Really, I came at the right time (January 2025) where at that time the weather was very good. The wind was so gentle even though the sun was very confident in showing itself with its bright rays. But, because the air was so cold, it didn't feel like being in a microwave. The right time and I'm even grateful for that.

According to the guidebook, Wat Mahannapharam Worawihan is highly recommended for finding various histories about the development of Buddhism in Thailand, because this place is also a special school. Not only is there a temple but there are also several buildings used for learning. Although that morning it was still quiet, because it was a weekend morning.

See you the next time hive friends!
