Hello everyone!
With the release of Conclave Arcana on May 13th, many units will be hitting the battlefield, many of them with new abilities. These abilities will make the game more exciting and bring new strategies.
Without further ado, let's begin:
All the new
summoners ARCHONS will have this ability called BLOODLINE DOMINION, which will be able to summon any unit of the same bloodline as the Archon, regardless of the element.
As far as I udnerstand, all Archons in the Conclave Arcana will have this characteristic, and will be able to summon units not only of their own element, but also with the same bloodline. Additionally, the other abilities that the Archon has will only be granted to those who have their own bloodline. For example: Bella Ratajowlski, will only grant Ulunds the Deflect and the Shield ability.
BLOODLINE TRIBUTE : When a unit with this ability dies, allied units of the same bloodline as this unit get +1 to armor, health, and speed, and +1 power for each shared attack type.
This ability will boost units of the same bloodline, and it doesn't matter if they are not close to each other, they will all recive this bonus. Unlike units with the Martyr ability, which are best placed between two units, units with the Bloodline Tribute will be best positioned in the first position, so they can be defeated early, increasing the power of your bloodline units faster.
FINAL REST : Units with this ability will make that allied and enemy abilities that trigger on defeat cannot activate.
I haven't found any units with this ability yet :S
So units with the Martyr, Redemption and the new Bloodline Tribute and Resurgence abilities will have their effects negated upon being defeated. Keep in mind, that this ability also affects your own creatures.
This ability will be triggered by Electrified, burning from Incendiary, Reckless, Resurgence, and Soul Siphon. Also, this ability can be stacked, so units can become stronger each time.
True damage doesn't mean that they will not miss their attack, but rather that they will deal exactly the damage they have, so for the first time, units with defensive abilities won't take less damage. This is also great against units with Forcefield, which only take 1 damage from units with an attack power of 5 or higher.
This will be the best resurrection ability, as the previous ones only resurrect the units with 1 health. The downside is that the unit won't attack for 1 turn, and will deal 1 damage to your units upon resurrection, but I think it's worth it.
REVEAL : Each round applies Revealed to a Camouflaged enemy unit. Revealed units can be targeted by direct attacks.
SHAPESHIFT : Treated as all bloodlines.
The only DEBILITATION for the moment.
RECKLESS : Each successful attack also deals 1 damage to adjacent allied units.
These units appear to be unfriendly, as they will damage adjacent allies when attacking. However, this can be beneficial if martyr units are placed among these Reckless units, as they can be quickly defeated, triggering their bufff effect.
What new ability do you like the most? I like the Relentless Strike because I like to play aggressively. I also think that the Shapeshift ability, will perhaps the best in the modern format.
