Hola a todos, espero que su semana esté yendo de maravilla. Yo estoy súper contenta porque ya es casi viernes y ahora si podremos descansar y organizar algunas cosas en casa. Hoy paso por aquí para contarles un poquito de nuestra primera noche en Cartagena. Como les mencioné en posts anteriores, nos hospedamos en un airbnb que tenía coworking, roof top, café-bar y hasta una piscina pequeña. Así que como buenos turistas, decidimos visitar cada lugar del airbnb y así poder recomendarlo a personas que también visiten la ciudad.
Esa primera noche decidimos visitar Mankay el roof top ya que como cortesía nos regalaron un cóctel de bienvenid que solo podíamos reclamar de 7 a 8 pm. Por esa razón, esa primera noche decidimos aprovechar a reclamarlo porque no había mucho chance de hacerlo cualquier otro día ya que solo estaríamos 2 días como tal en la ciudad. Cuando llegamos, el chico muy amable nos atendió, le entregamos los tickets del cóctel y los preparó y les cuento que estaba muy refrescante y muy sabroso y sabía como a maracuya.
En Mankay no tienen mucha variedad de platos, este lugar es más para tomar buenos cocteles y picar. Aunque si ven el menú también venden hamburguesas. Nosotros decidimos pedir la fríed food basket ya que era nuestra primera noche y estábamos muy antojados de probar los fritos de Cartagena y así fue como nos dimos cuenta lo deliciosos que son. Nosotros pudimos conversar mucho allí y pasar un rato juntos ya que hace mucho no lo hacíamos. El lugar era fresco porque estaba en el último piso y era de noche pero cuando es de tarde hace mucho calor jajaja y de noche me encanta la iluminación que tienen, se ve hermosa. Hello everyone, I hope your week is going great. I am very happy because it is almost Friday and now we can rest and organize some things at home. Today I am stopping by to tell you a little bit about our first night in Cartagena. As I mentioned in previous posts, we stayed in an airbnb that had coworking, roof top, cafe-bar and even a small pool. So as good tourists, we decided to visit every place in the airbnb so we could recommend it to people who are also visiting the city.
That first night we decided to visit Mankay the roof top because as a courtesy they gave us a welcome cocktail that we could only claim from 7 to 8 pm. For that reason, that first night we decided to take the opportunity to claim it because there was not much chance to do it any other day since we would only be in the city for 2 days. When we arrived, the guy very kindly attended us, we gave him the tickets for the cocktail and he prepared it and I tell you that it was very refreshing and very tasty and tasted like passion fruit.
In Mankay they don't have much variety of dishes, this place is more for good cocktails and snacks. Although if you look at the menu they also sell hamburgers. We decided to order the fried food basket since it was our first night and we were really craving to try the fried food of Cartagena and that's how we realized how delicious they are. We were able to talk a lot there and spend some time together since we hadn't done it for a long time. The place was cool because it was on the top floor and it was at night but when it is in the afternoon it is very hot hahaha and at night I love the lighting they have, it looks beautiful.
