Hola amigos, cómo están todos? Por esté lado estamos bien gracias a Dios.
Nuestra hermosa Isla de Margarita ha estado envuelta en días de intensa lluvia debido a una onda tropical. Por un lado, el agua era necesaria tras semanas de mucho calor, pero por otro lado su impacto nos preocupa profundamente.
El ambiente cambia, aparecen enfermedades, algo que me angustia mucho, especialmente porque hace pocos días mi hija sufrió una fuerte amigdalitis, una experiencia difícil y dolorosa. Por otro lado, los animales buscan refugio. En el salón donde trabajo como apoyo, el martes encontramos una culebra, lo que me llenó de temor por nuestra seguridad. Lo curioso es que los niños, lejos de asustarse, se emocionaron al verla.
La lluvia ha afectado otros aspectos de nuestra rutina. Mi hijo, que entrena al aire libre, ha visto sus entrenamientos interrumpidos, lo que cambia sus hábitos y limita su preparación para el viaje que tiene a finales de mes. Es un recordatorio de cómo estos cambios climáticos tienen un impacto más amplio en nuestra vida diaria.
Mi hija Gabriela que asiste a clases de natación, la semana pasada no pudo asisitr pues se estaba recuperando de una fuerte amigdalitis y esta semana que teniamos previsto volver lamentablemente no hemos podido por las lluvias.
Esto sin dejar de mencionar que en la mañana al llegar al colegio esta lloviendo fuerte pero deben cumplir con sus responsabilidades ya que los exámenes no paran, pues está por culminar el año escolar.
Además de estos cambios, lo más difícil es pensar en nuestros amigos y vecinos que viven en casas en condiciones frágiles. Para ellos, cada aguacero representa una amenaza, un riesgo que puede afectar sus hogares y sus vidas.
A mí me encanta el clima frío y la tranquilidad de estar en casa, pero me duele ver cómo las lluvias paralizan la vida de tantos. Comparto estas fotos para mostrar cómo la isla se ha teñido de un tono opaco y oscuro en estos días. Que esta publicación sirva para reflexionar sobre la realidad de quienes más sufren en estos tiempos difíciles.
En estos momentos, mi corazón siente una mezcla de alivio y preocupación. La lluvia era necesaria, pero también trae consigo dificultades para quienes viven en situaciones vulnerables. Es un contraste entre la belleza de la naturaleza y las dificultades que se imponen.

The atmosphere changes, illnesses appear, something that worries me greatly, especially because a few days ago my daughter suffered from severe tonsillitis, a difficult and painful experience. On the other hand, animals are seeking refuge. In the classroom where I work as a support worker, we found a snake on Tuesday, which filled me with fear for our safety. The curious thing is that the children, far from being scared, were excited to see it.
The rain has affected other aspects of our routine. My son, who trains outdoors, has seen his workouts interrupted, changing his habits and limiting his preparation for his upcoming trip at the end of the month. It's a reminder of how these weather changes have a broader impact on our daily lives.
My daughter Gabriela, who attends swimming lessons, couldn't attend last week because she was recovering from severe tonsillitis. Unfortunately, we weren't able to attend this week, when we were scheduled to return, due to the rain.
Not to mention that it's raining heavily when they get to school in the morning, but they have to fulfill their responsibilities since exams don't stop, as the school year is about to end.
In addition to these changes, the hardest thing is to think about our friends and neighbors who live in fragile homes. For them, every downpour represents a threat, a risk that can affect their homes and their lives.
I love the cold weather and the tranquility of being home, but I It's painful to see how the rains paralyze the lives of so many.
