Hello Hivers,
Allow me to share my last travel with my family during pandemic time last April 9, 2023, my family and I embarked on an unforgettable trip to Cateel and Baganga, Davao Oriental. One of the most remarkable highlights of our journey was visiting the Aliwagwag Falls Eco Park in Cateel, a place that left us absolutely mesmerized. The falls were truly majestic, with cascading waters surrounded by lush greenery. The stunning views and natural beauty of the area were breathtaking and felt like something out of a dream.
Although swimming in the river was not allowed due to pandemic restrictions, we made the most of our visit.
My children were thrilled to take photos, using the serene river as their background, and the pictures turned out beautifully.
We also ensured to take family photos together, creating cherished souvenirs of our time there. It was heartwarming to capture those moments, surrounded by such an awe-inspiring landscape.
What made the visit even more memorable were the people we encountered at the Eco Park. They were incredibly kind, friendly, and accommodating to tourists like us. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home and added a personal touch to our adventure.
The journey to Aliwagwag Falls, however, had its challenges. The winding roads leading to the destination were filled with twists and turns, making me feel quite dizzy. After a while, the constant motion made me throw up. Despite this discomfort, the beauty of the falls and the joy of spending time with my family made it all worthwhile.
This trip was not only a chance to explore the wonders of nature but also an opportunity to bond as a family. Aliwagwag Falls will always hold a special place in my heart as a truly majestic and memorable destination.
