Konichiwa Minna-san! I bring you another exciting recounting of my challenge against another hard mode boss. Follow me as I regale you with my epic battle against Ulfgar the Unmerciful. PS: I didn't show Ulfgar Mercy😜
I had my daily 2 keys filled and was ready to rumble. After days of slugging it out with easy bosses, my blood was very hot. I had to cool it down or risk hitting the next person I saw! Luckily, Ulfgar presented itself before me: a worthy challenge.
Ulfgar's deck hinted at a mixed bag, so I went with one of my most powerful deck that works for most situations.
Started second with my hand not looking good. Had a bunch of cards that I couldn't just summon without specific conditions to maximize them. So I didn't summon and drew more cards instead with my faction battleship power.
4 turns in again lol, things weren't looking good. I was surrounded on all sides, nowhere to run to. Just me and my Lovely Catherina against the world.
This stupid card wasn't helping matters with its void ability, as I kept on losing one card from my hand each turn. For decks like mine that required drawing cards constantly to keep your hand topped off, it was a great counter. My deck is packed with cards, so I need to keep drawing to always have the right card in hand.
Unfortunately for Ulfgar, I loved to see the world BURN!! I drew this lovely card next and almost completely cleared its field.
I was back in the game, with great cards in hand. The future was looking bright again.
I was beaten to an inch of my life, but I gave back as good as I received. Looking at the Molten stones in my hand, plus the mechs on my field, I knew I had my victory in the bag.
Next turn, Ulfgar used his absolute clone to clear the field, unaccepting of its fate. Unfortunately for it, resistance was futile as I responded in kind with my own Absolute clone, claiming both field and hand dominance. I was the Apex predator staring down unmercifully at a prey on its death throes.
I put my prey out of its misery and claimed Victory. There was never any doubt about this outcome along the way.
Sadly, this marks the end of my epic recollection of this battle. Don't be sad dear readers, for I'll be back with even more bone-chilling battles soon as I near another even more dangerous hard mode boss like Veridia. Until then, stay safe. Sayonara!
