We were ready to explore the beautiful Budapest. After our peaceful, quiet and beautiful time inside St. Stephen’s Basilica. Budapest has more beautiful places to show us. Our adventure continued by foot. Just walking, my husband planned where to go next and our excitement of what the city will offer us.

The busy bridge in the heart of Budapest and one of the most famous landmarks of Budapest is the Chain Bridge (Széchenyi Lánchíd). I was amazed by its beautiful towers, the design and its strength. It has two massive stone lions, it is like an art piece. On both sides, its like guarding or protecting the city from the enemies. The Chain Bridge is across the Danube River which is the longest river.

Finally, we walked through the Chain Bridge. We started to walk slowly. Honestly, I'm scared of crossing the bridge. Panic mood. But my husband holds my hand and my daughter is fearless. She is more adventurous than me. They always say do not look down. Just enjoy the beautiful buildings of Budapest. It's a busy bridge. People taking photos from the massive lion.

The view is wide. You can see the Parliament Building and on the other side is the Buda Castle sitting on the high hill. And all around its the Danube River. The history of the bridge is connecting Buda and Pest. It's from the past, tradition and now the present time. Now, the present time people call it Budapest. But in history its a different place for Buda and Pest.

Finally, we crossed the bridge. We continued walking uphill. We were going to another attraction in Budapest. The Matthias Church (Matyášův chrám).
Walking uphill gives us stunning streets, colorful houses and beautiful architecture designs. It's like a fairytale when I see the Matthias Church. Tiled roof with patterns of orange, yellow and green so stunning. The tall tower with the blue sky is so beautiful. Colorful roof, white stone church, the details of the wall and its carvings are so detailed. It's a masterpiece architectural design of Matthias Church.

It's a busy place. People come to see personality. The street is lively, there are cafés, food stalls, street artists who sing. And I can say I enjoyed it even though the place has lots of tourists.

The Fisherman's Bastion is not far from the Matthias Church. It's another most picturesque attraction in Budapest. From there I saw the breathtaking panoramic view of the Danube River and the most beautiful Parliament Building. It's a huge Parliament. Sad to say, we did not go there because we had no time to visit. I saw it only on videos and I was amazed how beautiful the Parliament is. Maybe next I want to see it personally.

Aya and I were so lucky that we experienced it. Our adventure made it so special because of my husband. I really thank my husband for everything, especially for experiencing the most beautiful city, Budapest. We will never forget it. We will always treasure it forever.
