Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. Today is my birthday. But this year I am not having a birthday party. I live a simple life like every day with my wife. In the morning we send our son and granddaughter to school. And we go to the wet market near my son's school. But this time we went to the wet market to buy food, fruits, medicine, drinking water and snacks to give the offering dedicated to the monk at the temple. As I drive to the wet market. This morning the sky is clear up. It looks refreshing. And the clouds look beautiful.
We parked our car at the temple and walked to the wet market.
When we arrived at the market, we walked around and chose the cheap shops to bought food, mangoes, medicine, drinking water and snacks.
We went to Wat Sri Mongkol in San Sai Subdistrict, this temple where we often make merit. When we arrived at the temple, we first give the offering dedicated to the monk, And receive blessing from the monk. Then we went to the buddha image hall (viharn) to make merit and pay respect to the buddha images. To good deeds on my birthday.
We went to another temple too. But this temple is in Wiang Subdistrict. This temple is called Wat Udom Mongkol. There are many shops today. Most of them are restaurants. Shops are gradually opening and selling. But some shops are still not open. All shops will be open and selling in the evening until night.
It's almost noon and our lunch. There is a newly opened noodle shop. It is located on the side of the road (Highway 107). It's a small outdoor noodle shop. It looks simple and the shop is not decorated. There are tables and chairs for sitting and eating outdoors. But the vendor will cooks the noodles in a wooden pavilion.
My wife and I ordered thin rice noodles in spicy soup (tom yum).
We also ordered pork wonton in clear soup and pork satay with peanut sauce.
We plan to buy some small cakes to eat with the kids at home too. So we stopped by Lotus to buy small cakes. There are many cakes in Lotus.
Finally we picked up our son from school and went home. The afternoon sky was clear and the atmosphere was good.
