Yesterday, our community was filled with life and hope during the Jornada de Salud Popular, an event that brought together neighbors and families in an atmosphere full of joy and care. Organized at a school institution, this free event offered medical check-ups in various specialties, including gynecology, ophthalmology, dentistry, pediatrics and nutrition.
Ayer, nuestra comunidad se llenó de vida y esperanza durante la Jornada de Salud Popular, un evento que reunió a vecinos y familias en un ambiente lleno de alegría y cuidado. Organizado en una institución escolar, este evento gratuito ofreció chequeos médicos en diversas especialidades, incluyendo ginecología, oftalmología, odontología, pediatría y nutrición.
Early in the morning, residents began to arrive, eager to take advantage of the opportunity to take care of their health. It was especially moving to see children with their representatives, as well as the elderly, who were given priority in the consultations. Health is a fundamental right and this event made it accessible to all.
Desde temprano, los habitantes comenzaron a llegar, ansiosos por aprovechar la oportunidad de cuidar su salud. Fue especialmente conmovedor ver a niños y niñas junto a sus representantes, así como a adultos mayores, quienes tuvieron prioridad en las consultas. While waiting their turn, attendees enjoyed recreational events organized by the school. Games and activities not only kept spirits high, but also fostered a sense of community and camaraderie among the participants. In addition, to sweeten the day, there was a harvest of delicious sweets that delighted young and old alike.
Mientras esperaban su turno, los asistentes disfrutaron de eventos recreativos organizados por la escuela. Juegos y actividades no solo mantuvieron el ánimo alto, sino que también fomentaron un sentido de comunidad y camaradería entre los participantes. Además, para endulzar la jornada, hubo una vendimia de deliciosos dulces que hizo las delicias de grandes y chicos.
These types of initiatives are vital to promote public health and wellness. The Jornada de Salud Popular not only addressed medical needs, but also strengthened community ties, reminding us of the importance of taking care of each other. We hope that this day is just the beginning of many more activities that will continue to promote health and wellness in our community. Together we can achieve a healthier future!
