Estos días en clases hemos tenido que hacer algunas cosas en acuarela, una de las asignaciones era hacer una Polaroid del paisaje de una playa y la otra era un retrato, por así decirlo, o una pintura, mejor dicho, de una ballena en medidas de 14 × 21cm. Hacer la ballena fue un poquito más fácil de lo que pensaba, aunque obviamente estuve guiando de varios videos en ambas cosas para poder hacerlo. De igual forma estuve sacando una impresión de la silueta de una ballena para no amargarme la existencia básicamente y que resultará todo más fácil. Estuve también utilizando una técnica de textura que agrega sal a la acuarela sobre el lienzo para poder hacer la parte superior de la ballena y lo demás simplemente fueron degradados.
Por otro lado, hacer la Polaroid fue muchísimo más sencillo, siento que lo que no me acompañó en este caso fue la cinta adhesiva que utilicé, ya que si se me corrió la pintura en varias zonas, pero comencé siendo el cielo, respetando las zonas blancas de las nubes, haciendo también una silueta, de una montaña. Luego estuve haciendo la parte del mar, esta vez lo hice en diagonal, no lo quería ser totalmente vertical y le agregué tanto la arena como el detalle de las palmeras. Luego que terminé la playa esa playa decía hacer otra, ya que habías recortado otro lienzo del mismo tamaño, pero quería hacerlo muy atardecer utilizando tonos más vibrantes y siento que me gustó muchísimo a pesar de qué también se me corrió un poco la pintura en una zona que traté de agregar de arreglar con acrílico blanco, pero no quedó perfecto, pero la verdad siento que me gustó bastante.
Últimamente, he sentido que la acuarela y la pintura en general es un hobby al cual me puedo dedicar, solo por diversión, porque no es algo que hago todos los días y a pesar de que lo tengo que hacer para las clases, no es tantas cosas o no es demasiado más bien, lo disfruto mucho. Así que tengo muchas ganas de hacer un cuadro, ya compré un lienzo pequeño y espero realizarlo pronto. Nos leemos pronto
These days in class we've had to do some watercolor work. One of the assignments was to make a Polaroid of a beach landscape, and the other was a portrait, so to speak, or rather a painting of a whale measuring 14 × 21 cm. Painting the whale was a little easier than I thought, although I obviously used several videos as a guide for both projects. I also printed out a silhouette of a whale so I wouldn't drive myself crazy and to make everything easier. I also used a texturing technique that involves adding salt to the watercolor on the canvas to create the top of the whale, and the rest was simply shaded.
On the other hand, making the Polaroid was much easier. I feel that what didn't work for me in this case was the adhesive tape I used, as the paint ran in several areas, but I started with the sky, respecting the white areas of the clouds, and also made a silhouette of a mountain. Then I did the sea, this time diagonally, as I didn't want it to be completely vertical, and I added both the sand and the palm trees. After I finished that beach, I decided to do another one, since I had cut out another canvas of the same size, but I wanted to make it look like sunset using more vibrant tones, and I feel like I really liked it, even though the paint also ran a little in one area that I tried to fix with white acrylic, but it didn't turn out perfect. However, I honestly feel like I liked it quite a bit.
Lately, I've felt that watercolor and painting in general is a hobby I can devote myself to, just for fun, because it's not something I do every day, and even though I have to do it for class, it's not that much work, or rather, it's not too much, and I enjoy it a lot. So I'm really looking forward to painting a picture. I already bought a small canvas and hope to do it soon. See you soon!
