Hidden in the core of the Philippine archipelago, Cebu is a tropical doubtlessly one of the most beautiful islands with rich culture. Sandira Beach is one of its many jewels; it is a secluded beach that stole my heart the moment I visited it recently. This blog is a first-hand experience at Sandira Beach where serenity rhymes with exquisiteness.
The moment I entered Sandira Beach, what caught my attention was the beautiful shades of blue and the sky meeting the water. The beach is quite isolated, and this was its plus. I took a long drinks of the salt sea air and a wonderful sensation of calmness fell upon me. The sound of waves crushing gently on the seashore was music to my ears since it gave me the best background to a day of relaxation.
After I settled down I decided to take a walk along the beach.My feet were Polka dotted with white powdery sand that felt like silk and the warm sun was caressing my skin. I spent time roaming on the beach gathering seashells and admiring nature with its complicated designs. The palm-trees were green and were lazily swinging in the air and the view was so beautiful that it was almost unreal.
This turned out to be one of the best since I am able to swim and snorkel in the blue crystalline waters. I went to the colorful underwater world with the help of a mask and a snorkel. it was swarming with coral reefs- fish of every color furiously chasing each other and I even saw a couple of Sea turtles majestically moving through the water. I was so near to nature, that it was magic to touch the beauty of marine life and I became a part of that world.
And then, it was time to eat some local food after a refreshing swim. I found a small restaurant by the beach which offered fresh sea food. I had grilled fish that was nicely seasoned and accompaniment of coconut rice. Their tastes were so nice and I enjoyed every bite because I had a magnificent view of the ocean.
I could make the pictures of the fine sunset I will never forget those moments in my life. Not only Sandira Beach was beautiful in landscape but also due to the feeling of joy and tranquility it evoked in my heart.
I have enjoyed my time at the Sandira Beach and it was enchanting. It was a reminder on the importance of taking off and re-bonding with nature. As I was packing my bags I promised myself that I would be back to this corner of heaven. Sandira Beach is not only a place but a place of refuge where one can get away with the busy life. Whenever you happen to be in Cebu, be sure not to miss Sandira Beach, it is a piece of heaven on earth just waiting to be discovered.
