Hello everyone, welcome back to Ramadhanight's Hive Blog on Splinterlands Socmed Challenge. Missed an attack can be annoying, especially when they have the backfire. What if your monster ended up killed themselves because 0 attack is landed on the enemy ? That's the enjoy I got when my enemy miss all of their attack, let's check it out !
Learn About Missing Attack Chance in Splinterlands
On splinterlands, there is a chance of attack can missed, especially for the physical kind of attack. Some of the factor for the miss possibility is :
Speed different
This is the first factor. Each 1 different speed is making a 10% of missing chance of physical attack from lower speed attacker.
Blind Ability
Improve the missing chance of melee and range monster by 15%. Blind work as debuff that is affecting every monster on the enemy side.
Dodge Ability
Improve the missing chance of melee and range monster by 25%! But unlike the blind that work as debuff, dodge is only given to the monster that have it's ability.
Flying Ability
Another 25% of missing chance from the physical attack if they don't have the flying as well. Only applied to monster that have fly ability and can be canceled with the snare ability.
Phase Ability
This is an ability that makes a monster can miss the magical attack (magic are always hit or never miss for monster without phase ability).
Backfire Turn a Miss into Powerfull Weapon
What is Backfire Ability and Why it can turn a miss into deadly weapon ? Backfire is an ability that works when an enemy unit misses, which will deals 2 physical damage to the missed attacker. So, at every missed attack, it will not just a waste of attack, but also a backfire damage to the attacker.
You can also combine it with the sprint and slow for more speed different or slow the enemies speed with Impede which will reduce 1 speed of enemies after each succesfull attack.

But, I will also give the review about the match on this post.
Here is the formation and the ruleset. With 14 mana cap, it's so thight especially with the high mana summoner that I use. I only manage to get 1 monster to come into battlefield, but hopefully it will be enough. My enemy got 2 melee monster, with 5 melee damage in total for each round if it succesfully landed on my monster.
Anyway, for the ruleset, we got the Heavy Metal so only armored units can deployed and there is also the blast and opportunity ability, so any melee can attack from any position.
How the Battle Goes
The battle is too satisying to be shared as picture and description, so I decide to bring you the gif of it.
My monster completely evading the WHOLE incoming attack ! I mean 8 out of 8 attacks are evaded ! This mean the backfire could land 16 damage on this match ! Very satisying win for me (and probably very annoying lose on my enemy side 😂)
Get More Packs
As my last week post, my strategy is to get the summoner first, because they limit the monster level we can bring, and there are very limited summoners at the moment, and getting the starter pack is the most efficient way in my opinion, that's why I decide to go getting 5 more starter packs today.
First, we need to visit the shop at https://splinterlands.com/shop/packs
Next, just input how many packs you want to get. Today, I decide to go for 5 packs which cost 5,000 DEC. Let's see what I got !
First pack contains 3 rare which is good, but unfortunately no summoner there. But, I found another summoner on the next 2 packs.
There are no summoners again appeared on the last 2 packs, and there is only 1 rare from each of them. Out of the 5 packs I open today, I only get 2 summoner. Not a great day, but not too bad either I guess ? Let's hope for better luck on my next unpack !
Final Words
