Hello everyone, I hope everything is going well in your life and you are having a wonderful day. Welcome to my Splinterlands Social Media Challenge post. In this post, I will talk about why should you add Gladiator cards to your deck and how to get them, as well as I purchase and open 10 Gladius Cases. I hope it will be useful for you.

What Are Gladiator Cards and How to Obtain Them?

Gladiators are very powerful and very special cards, they can be used in ranked battles, Brawl and tournaments. They can help you win battles, even the toughest ones, and they can be very dangerous for enemies in battles and I would like to say that they can be much more useful when used with a good strategy.

Gladiator cards are Soulbound (non-transferable) cards that are only contained in Gladius Cases. Gladius Cases can only be purchased in Guild store with Merit, each case costs 2,000 Merits and contains 5 cards. And in order to use the Guild store, that is, to purchase Gladius cases, you must be a member of a guild and your guild's store must be level 2. (Below I will talk about how to purchase Gladius cases.)

If you are not a member of a guild, I strongly recommend you join one, so you can use the Guild store and earn Merits and SPS by participating in Brawls. And you can buy Gladius cases with the Merits you earn. Also, Merits are sold in the rewards shop and can be found in loot chests. I think the easiest way to accumulate Merits is to participate in Brawls. By the way, to view all Guilds, click on the Guilds icon from the options at the top of the screen.

View All Gladiator Cards

To view all Gladiators cards in Splinterlands; first click on the Cards (Card Collection) icon in the Items icon in the options at the top of the screen. Then select G (Gladiator) from the Edition Filter and All Cards from the drop-down menu at the top.

As you can see from the list, there are a total of 32 Gladiator Cards in the Splinterlands game.

Gladiators are very special cards that add strength to your deck. They can be used in both Ranked Battles, Brawls and Tournaments and I would like to say that they can be very useful in battles. I can honestly say that Gladiators add power and value to my deck.

What Makes Gladiators So Powerful?

Bloodlust Ability

  • Bloodlust Ability : +1 to all stats after dealing a killing blow.

All Gladiators have the Bloodlust Ability, so they get +1 to all stats after dealing a killing blow, which is what makes them so powerful and special. The Bloodlust ability is really powerful and an amazing ability, so Gladiators can become more dangerous and unstoppable as the battle goes on. Prevent Gladiators from dying early in battles and you will witness them revelling in the glory of the battle as the battle goes on.

By the way, you can only use one gladiator card in battles in Brawl. And Summoners with the Conscript ability allow you to use one additional gladiator card per battle. And in battles with the The Are You Not Entertained? ruleset, Players can use one additional Gladiator Card. As you can see, there are certain limits to using Gladiator cards, otherwise decks with Gladiators would be incredibly difficult to beat.

How to Get Gladiator Cards?

As I mentioned above, the only way to get Gladiator cards is to buy and open Gladius cases, and Gladiator cards cannot be sold, bought, rented, meaning they are not transferable. And in order to buy Gladius cases, you need to be a member of a guild whose guild store is level 2 or higher and have Merits.

I participate in almost all Brawls and open almost 50+ loot chests every season, so I accumulate a lot of Merits every season. And now I will buy 10 Gladius cases.

How to Buy Gladius Case(s)?

To purchase Gladius Case(s), first click Shop -> Guild -> Gladius Case from the options at the top of the screen. or use this link directly.

Afterwards, you will see the following screen.

First enter the amount you want to purchase and then click the PAY WITH MERITS button.

And you will be asked if you are sure about the purchase. Once you confirm, the purchase will be made.

I will buy 10 Gladius cases so I entered 10 in the amount and clicked the PAY WITH MERITS button. And it asked "Are you sure you want to buy 10 items for 20.000 MERITS?" And I clicked Confirm and bought 10 Gladius Cases for 20.000 MERITS.

That's how easy it is to buy Gladius cases.

How to Open Gladius Case(s) and Pack(s)?

Click on the OPEN icon from the options at the top of the screen to open Gladius cases and all packs.

To open a pack, dragging and dropping it into the mana well (as shown above)

To open multiple packs, you can use the OPEN MULTIPLE option. As far as I know, you can open up to 200 packs at once.

As shown above, I first clicked OPEN MULTIPLE, then entered 10 in the amount and clicked OPEN.

Here are the Gladiator Cards I Got from Gladius Cases;

I got 2 Epic, 15 Rare, 1 Rare Gold Foil and 32 Common gladiator cards from the Gladius cases, I didn't get any Legendary cards but I still want to say that I am very happy with the copies of the Gladiator cards I got because I need new copies of almost all the Gladiator cards. I can say that I love all Gladiators and I can't wait to max out all my cards. They are really powerful and can help me a lot in battles, even helping me defeat my strongest opponents.

I think having Gladiator cards is a big advantage and leveling them up will make your deck more powerful and valuable, so I level them up once I have enough copies. By the way, combining multiple cards with the same name will increase their level, which in most cases will change their stats. But combining cards is permanent and cannot be undone so be sure before leveling them up.

Splinterlands is a really amazing game and I really enjoy playing it, I can say that I play it almost every day when I have the opportunity, I wish I had the chance to play it more, I love this game so much.

If you have any questions about #splinterlands or anything else please feel free to ask and I'll be happy to answer them.
