Hello there hivers! Wishing you good day everyone! Any thoughts for the day? We have been experiencing hot weather these past few days especially during the Holy week until today and I am worried because my plants showed signs of withering. Unlike in our place where the weather is cool and even if it's hot, our plants are still protected by tall trees around. Nevertheless, I see to it that our plants are well watered everyday.
Taking care of my plants makes my day
When my alarm rings at exactly 6 o'clock in the morning, I can already feel the heat of the rising sun and of course, it's time for me to water the plants.
These are some of the plants that thrived but the rest needed a cooler place so I left a lot of them in our place.
I like sturdy Ivy plants like the Philodendrons because it can survive hot weather and less care but they should be under the shades.
I have been wanting to have this plant but it's scarce when it comes to sprouting. Sturdy plants are slow growing plants. At last, the aunt of my daughter's best friend when we visited their place during our trip to Canlaon during the Holy week gave me this plant among others! You see, these plants were costly during the pandemic when almost everyone became obsessed with plant collection especially those with big leaves!
These are some of the sturdy plants I like and the more the merrier though I still can't afford the expensive ones.
Our Priority
First thing and foremost, my grandson is our priority. I take care of him whenever the couple goes to work. Luckily, we got a new nanny for him yesterday. We hope that she'll stay longer because helpers tend to be more inclined to go to Manila without thinking of the risks they're bound to! Antonia's nanny has been with us since her kinder days until we relocated here in Bacolod City, which is seldom nowadays though she couldn't come with us since she still have a daughter and father to attend to.
Sewing and DIYs
Sewing is a typical day for me. It has been my passion ever since I've learned to sew and I like to make handicrafts from recycled materials. For me, they're self accomplishments! On the above photo, I customised a "Lufin" outfit for Jai-jai from the "One Piece" anime movies. It matched his long curly hair! :) The photo was taken during the Holy week at the spring water resort.
Recycling an old denim to handy tote bag for Antonia and petite backpack for my grandson.
We have lots of bags but they like my handmade bags especially the crocheted ones.:)
I've have already gathered empty canisters for hair treatments which I will later convert into something nice which I will be showing to you soon.
An Ghostwriter Writer and A Blockchain Content Writer
I have recently done a research study for my client which took me 6 months to finish the book. Of course, content writing is easier here because I can choose my own time and theme in which Asean Community is one of my favourites!
This is all for now, this is my entry #155, re: My Typical day by @JustineParke and company. Thank you so much and thank you guys for dropping by my page!
Till then,
