With twelve days and sixteen hours remaining in Conclave Arcana Presale let's take a look at where we stand with the presale.
After a really strong start in the first day of the presale we seemed to have slowed down significantly.
Here is what pack sales looked like six days ago:
It is possible that people are waiting for the Splinterlands update tomorrow that will reduce the SPS to DEC burn fees from 2.5% to 0.5%
There are also people holding SPS hoping for it go go up so that burning SPS results in more DEC for buying Conclave Arcana packs.
Reduced SPS to DEC Burn Fees
Knowing that the fee to burn SPS and convert it into DEC is going to be one fifth of what it is today tomorrow it makes no sense to burn SPS today and convert it to DEC, people are obviously waiting until tomorrow. How much burning we will get tomorrow? That is unknown, but burning SPS for DEC to buy packs is one of the best ways to bring value to SPS by reducing the SPS total supply.
Hopefully tomorrow we will get some more SPS burning after the fees are reduced. Here is what Conclave Arcana leaderboard looks like as of this moment:
Let's compare to what the leaderboard looked like six days ago:
We see that Bravetofu has invested 2,800,000 more DEC and moved up to the first spot from the second spot. We have Zicsash appear in the fourth place with 32,664,000 DEC spent. Abrockman has moved down to the fifth position and Trashpanda and Nullfame dropped out of the top six as they have not spent any additional DEC while YGG Pool has moved into the sixth place. So there is a group buy this presale from YGG just like the last time.
DEC cost for Titles
At this time to get a
- legendary title costs 6,432,000 DEC
- epic title costs 2,264,000 DEC
- rare title costs 412,000 DEC
"The Mystic" rare title cost moved up from 120,000 DEC to 412,000 DEC. I have not tracked the cost for the epic and legendary titles, but I am sure those have moved up as well.
Packs Remaining
In terms of remaining packs we have sold in the last six days:
20,658 Standard Packs
1,429 Legendary Packs
8,941 Alchemy Packs
At this moment it is hard to imagine that Conclave Arcana presale will sell out.
Token Prices
Six days ago we had the following prices for Splinterlands and other Crypto tokens:
Today we see that SPS has dropped significantly about 30%. DEC is 3.3 cents lower at $0.964 which is further from the peg value and Hive has moved up a cent in value. BTC and ETH are slightly higher today than they were six days ago.
SPS Price Pump Would Be Helpful
If we had an SPS pump here it would be really helpful to Conclave Arcana Presale. A pump to two cents would make it so that people can burn SPS for twice as much DEC as they can now at one cent. Which would increase pack buying power of the players holding SPS by 100%
If we take a look at the SPS off the SPS Chain we see that we have:
- 139,906,538 Hive Engine
- 25,036,482 Ethereum
- 205,324,807 BSC
For the total of 370,267,827 SPS or $3,850,785 worth of SPS available to buy. That is a significant amount for the players to buy up. I see that Azircon is buying at 0.04 Hive significant amounts of SPS, but otherwise there is not much buying pressure to burn through 139 million of SPS on Tribaldex:
Splinterlands really needs a major investor to come in and buy a couple million dollars worth of SPS tokens. That would really breathe in a new life into the Splinterlands economy.

Let's hope we see more pack buying and more SPS buying after the fees drop. Without bringing in more value to SPS it will be hard to onboard new players into Splinterlands. I am watching the Conclave Arcana Presale to see what my next moves are. If we don't get more sales momentum before the end of presale that does not bode well for the game.
