Hello everyone 🙏. On April 16th my family and I went to Angkor Sangkran at Angkor Wat. There were many programs for us to visit and enjoy during the celebration of the traditional Khmer New Year.
On that day, there were also many programs such as Khmer tattoo performances, boxing, floating, singing and dancing, performances of ancient and modern dances, folk games, etc. We visited many places but we couldn’t find all.
I am very happy that this year I went on a trip to Angkor Sangkran with my family, my sister, and my nieces.
It was a great memory to see and visit the wonderland of Angkor Wat, the ancient Khmer temple, on New Year's Day.
Khmer New Year lasted three days and three nights, and many national and international visitors visit and enjoy the temples in Siem Reap.
My sister @ahleap and my children took a picture together in front of the Buddha. We wish our family are good and healthy.
I can't explain all the fun I had watching the various entertainment programs that day, but I want to share some with you all. It’s wonderful day and amazing.
This year in the Khmer calendar is the year of the snake, and my youngest daughter was born in the year of the snake. But she was born in the 11th month. Because this year is the Year of the Snake, many places have images of snakes everywhere. This toy snake is very interesting and beautiful together with my little girl, I love this picture.
These are flowers made from bamboo and they are decorated with colored lights at night, they are really beautiful.
This year is the best year for me and I hope every year is like that.
