FERMENTED VEGGIES - HEALTH + YUMMY

Do you know what fermented veggies are, friends? Do you cook them, eat them?

Early I knew only about cabbage (sauerkraut), and we cooked it every fall and winter many times. it's tasty and super healthy.

But this time I tried to make other mix of veggies in fermented variant.

I took beet, carrot, cauliflower and broccoli. Actually we can take any veggies we like! They are "friendly" to each other, and it even makes taste more interesting.

I sliced them very thin with the help of a special cutter.

It's the longest process in this cooking;)

Then we take spices we like:

garlic

pepper

salt

bay leaf

etc.

We add all this to veggies and pour warm water (not hot!) into the bottle.

Natural fermentation begins!

Warm temperature and natural bacteria start their work and create great and tasty dish for us.

Just wait for 2-3 days, and it will be ready.

When it's tasty for you enough, you can put them to the fridge, the fermentation will be stopped, and veggies can be kept there for a long time.

I like them very much!

Beet gives a perfect pink colour to all veggies, and the taste is just like in sauerkraut dish;)and the benefits are the same;)
