Hello everyone! So, we decided to go out for some grocery shopping, but first. Before heading to the main store, we first stopped at a small convenience store nearby. The main reason was to withdraw some cash for our groceries since not all the places accepted cards. When we got inside the convenience store, my best friend and I found a table and sat down to wait. Meanwhile, my sister Shane went to the ATM machine to withdraw the money we needed. While we waited, and the atmosphere inside the store was lively, with a few other customers chatting or grabbing snacks off the shelves. Me and my bestfriend chatted quietly among ourselves, occasionally glancing around at the colorful displays and shelves filled with candy, chips, and drinks. It felt cozy and casual, like a little break before the main event of the day. Once my sister Shane was done with the withdrawal, she came back to us and asked what we wanted to get while we were there. Me and my bestfriend eagerly picked out some donuts and drinks, making sure to include her choices as well since she was treating us all. The donuts looked especially tempting, with glazed and chocolate varieties that made it hard to choose.
We ended up with a small selection of treats, ready to enjoy them soon. After settling on our snacks, we spent some time talking about random things, from funny stories at school to weekend plans. It was a nice way to relax.
Once we finished our conversation and snacks, we stepped outside the convenience store. Our next mission was to find a tricycle to ride to the mall since it was a long short distance and we thought it would be fun to travel that way. We stood near the roadside, keeping an eye out for any tricycles that might pass by or be parked nearby. It didn’t take too long before one showed up, and we quickly waved it down. The driver was friendly and ready to take us. The three of us rode the tricycle, it was a little snug but comfortable enough for the short ride.
As we started moving, the gentle breeze and the sounds of the street made the ride enjoyable. Me and my sister Shane chatted some more as the tricycle weaved through traffic, making the ride longer. Riding together on the tricycle brought a sense of excitement and a change of pace compared to usual trip by walking. It was a simple outing, but these little moments made it memorable for all of us.
The moment we stepped inside the mall, we realized we couldn’t take any pictures because the staff didn’t allow photography in most areas. So, I’ll end the story here.
