Namaste to all fellow players of Splinterlands!
This week's Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge again is about to explore the release of Conclave Arcana. A new set of 82 amazing cards, New abilities, New foil, and the introduction of bloodline archons that every single Splinterlands player is excited for. Let's get started!
What am I most excited in the release of Conclave Arcana.
Well, I have never been this excited for something like this before. I don't have a favorite artist whose movies or music I'm crazy about, I don't even have a favorite brand whose launch I'm eagerly waiting for. I love movies and the animated, fantasy comedy, scifi genre but I don't watch their launches like I have watched in the last few days for this Conclave Arcana launch of Splinterlands. Well, that should be enough to make you understand that this game is no ordinary game. Because it is not just a launch of some new cards with all those old stats but also of new Rulesets, Foil, and Bloodline, which will obviously bring big changes in this game, and I am sure that this launch will change the entire way to play this game, including our strategies. Till now, we have just seen a glimpse of the new cards and abilities. However, we know that this new set will have a total of 82 cards, of which 24 will be Common cards, 29 Rare cards, 14 Epic cards, and 15 Legendary cards. But the most exciting thing in the release of this Conclave Arcana is the New Bloodline Archons and related new rulesets. I like Bloodline Tribute, Shapeshift, and Bloodline Dominion the most. Apart from this, the cards that they have revealed so far have made me even more excited because these cards not only look amazing but also have amazing powers, so obviously everyone would want to make them a part of their deck. For which their presale has also started now in which you can shop in Starter, Standard, Alchemy, or Legendary packs. Although at this time when I am writing this blog, the Starter packs in the presale are over but Standard can be purchased for 4000 DEC, Alchemy for 12000 DEC, and Legendary packs for 24000 DEC.
What I am hoping to see!
Well, I am expecting a lot of magic, action and mayhem. In the new cards, I especially want some really powerful cards at low mana which will help in making better strategies in low mana battles. I personally don't have any powerful cards at low mana and I miss them a lot in my deck because my morale goes down before the low mana battles even start. Apart from this, I would also like to see cards with multiple powers. Like a single card having both melee and magic or melee, magic and ranged. Imagine how awesome those bottles would be.
Also I would love to see a lot of Grey Neutral cards. Above is a Legendary Neutral card that looks like a mysterious character, which costs 6 mana. It has a dual attack power (Ranged and Melee). In level 1 it starts with 1 Melee Attack, 2 Range Attack, 3 Speed, No Armor and 2 abilities - Sneak and Shapeshift. Apart from this, there are many more tremendous cards such as...
What impact do I think this set will have on my personal strategy?
This set will undoubtedly shape my in-game strategy and it will be comparatively easier for me to create new strategies and use them in the best possible way on the battlefield because I have not been in the game for that long yet, which means I am still learning to create new strategies and my deck building is also in its initial stages. So far, I have adopted the strategy of renting cards, testing them for several days and then buying them and I find this approach to be the best because this way I can invest in only those cards that can form a good team with the rest of my cards and also suit my strategies. And so far, I have made the same plan for this new set of cards. I have bought thousands of DEC in the last few days and have also placed limit orders on some key supports because I will try to include many cards from this set in my deck when they come to the market after the presale.
That's all for today!
