Happy new week!
Here’s to hoping today—and the rest of the week—treats us kindly.
Life’s been slow and uneventful lately, which honestly isn’t a bad thing. I didn’t go to work at all last week since there was not court for me, so I spent most of my time watching YouTube and going for night walks. Just chilling, really.
I just wanted to sign in and share an illustration I wrapped up last week. I kept going back and forth with the composition, trying to figure out what felt right. Funny thing is that I remember creating a piece with this same flower and a similarcolour scheme maybe four years ago. But I couldn’t find it anywhere. Looks like I never minted it or posted it on my socials. It’s frustrating because it’s right there, lingering at the edge of my memory—I just want to remember what it was exactly. The only way would be to find out is to resurrect my Samsung tablet but that won't be happening any time soon.
I am promising myself that next month I will try to print some of my favourite pieces, frame them up to hang at home. I already contacted a printing service for pricing. It can be easily done. So can going to the police to let a lost document report and getting an affidavit of same and the travelling to Benin to my undergrad university for a CTC..... But those are worries for another day.
