For today, I bring you this series of photos where the motifs are sometimes held in the details of an object. The first photograph focuses on the details of an old, unused public telephone. It makes me think that until about 15 years ago, these telephones were widely used, but now, with the advancement of communications, practically everyone has their own cell phone. Other photos showcase the patterns of shapes in architecture. The second photograph, as you can see, is a fragment of a building highlighted by the patterns of its balconies and windows.

Now, the other photographs are a bit of that contrast between the elements in the different scenes, a bit of the shadow element within the photographic frame, and other points to keep in mind when composing a photograph. It's a vision I had for this day, and I wanted to show it to you in this post, because each image has its own language to express beyond the aesthetics of what we can see. These images, composed with the subtlety of black and white, and all the magic it entails, are harmony, form, and contrast in the scene.

It's a bit of what I feel and want to express on this day, a very quiet Sunday outside the bad rainy weather of other days, with few people on the street as is usual on Sundays, but with all the elements intact on the street, all those details that make up what a city can be and what I usually like to photograph.

All photographs are my own.
